There will be a rush to a state website for vaccinations once more, and this time it won’t be out of desperation.
This time, they will try to get money instead of immunity.

Massachusetts adults who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 can enter the VaxMillions giveaway starting Thursday, July 1, to win $1 million in five weekly drawings

The state will also give $300,000 in college scholarships to five people, ages 12 to 17.

Call it a different kind of lucky shot.
It comes five months after a time when people were very upset because there weren’t enough vaccines and it was hard to get online vaccine appointments.


Officials made the promotion, which is like a lottery, in the middle of June to get more people in the state to get vaccinated.

Massachusetts has issued a scam alert about the VaxMillions Giveaway and given guidance on how to avoid becoming a victim.

VaxMillions is open to anyone in the state who has gotten a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. It was created to encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID.
With three drawings left, there will be one $1 million winner who is at least 18 years old and another winner between 12 and 17 who will win a $300,000 scholarship each time.

6. Available Rules

People who don’t meet the rules in these Official Terms and Conditions can’t enter or win.
By entering the Promotion, all participants agree to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions, all final decisions made by DPH and MSL, and all procedures set up for the Promotion.

All prizes must be picked up at the MSL Headquarters Office, which is at 150 Mount Vernon in Dorchester, MA.
An Official Winner must claim his or her prize by filling out a VaxMillions Giveaway Promotion claim form in person at the MSL Headquarters Office within 60 days of being announced as an Official Winner of the Promotion.

If an Official Winner dies or can’t claim or receive a prize, DPH and MSL will decide how and whether to give the prize at their discretion.

DPH and MSL can cancel any Drawing without warning and hold a new Drawing if, in their sole judgment, they think it is necessary to keep the integrity of the Promotion.
